Strap Banding Tools

A strap banding tool is a versatile device used to fasten/tighten bands or straps (plastic, polyester, or steel straps) securely around items or objects and packages. It’s designed to use tension to tighten straps and often comes with a built-in cutting mechanism to trim excess strapping material. Usually, the strap is locked, tensioned, and then sealed to hold items together and tight.

Strap banding tools are commonly used in a wide range of industries such as construction, manufacturing, metalwork, shipping &logistics, and electronics. These tools are of various types (powered or unpowered) and can come as a combination or separate tools.

A combined strap banding tool has the tensioner, sealer, and cutter all in one tool. It’s worth noting that steel strappings of up to 19mm often use a sealless combination steel strapping tools.
