Swaging Tools Supply

Wire rope swaging tools or wire rope swagers are the tools used for swaging cable and wire ropes. Swaging entails crimping aluminum (or stainless steel/copper) swage sleeves/fittings) onto galvanized cables/wire to terminate the wire's end, preventing fraying and allowing easy attachment/anchor point to other objects.

There are several types of wire rope swaging tools. They include:

  • Hand-held swaging tools: They’re manually operated and feature a ratchet-like design of handles but a unique set of dies for crimping swage fittings.
  • Bench mount swaging tools: It is perfect for the repetitive task of crimping high volumes of line. A great amount of swaging is easily accomplished by this steel constructed design set on a wooden base, for ease of mounting.
  • Pneumatic swaging tools: They use compressed air to generate force for swaging.Pneumatic wire rope swagers are considered versatile due to their numerous applications.
